Residency at St. Vlad’s
As part of the Writing the Light Iconography Certification, I recently attended my second iconography residency with George Kordis. This time, it took place at the St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in Yonkers, NY. The previous one, earlier in the year, was in Athens, Greece, at Cinnabar, George’s painting studio.
We also attended a live interview with George, hosted by Peter Bouteneff, professor of systematic theology at the seminary. This interview is available in professor Bouteneff’s podcast.
After the residency, I also visited the Icon Museum and Study Center in Clinton Massachusetts, where George gave a talk hosted by the curator of the museum.
