Buon Fresco Residency with Mihai Coman

I recently completed another successful iconography residency in Athens, Greece. This time, the 5-day residency was led by Mihai Coman, a Romanian Orthodox world-renowned iconographer in secco and fresco techniques. We used 20x20cm and 60x60cm boards plastered with lime to learn the fresco technique under Mihai’s instruction.

I donated my final fresco of a Christ Pantocrator, to a Jesuit chapel in Athens, where it will be installed for the veneration of the congregants, most of which are young Catholics.
