Selected Artist at ‘Light of the Logos’ Exhibition 2026 (Belgrade)
For the second consecutive time, my icon submission was selected to be exhibited in Belgrade, Serbia, in the “Light of the Logos” contemporary iconography exhibition. This exhibition is hosted by Kaleidoskop Media, and has received increased attention beyond the boundaries of the Orthodox Church in Serbia:
This year's open call attracted record interest from artists - as many as 305 icons arrived, from 208 authors from 23 countries across four continents, representing significant growth compared to last year and confirming the exhibition's ever-growing international reputation.
Following careful selection, the Artistic Council chose 109 works by 91 artists, which will be presented to the public from September 1 to 16 at the Gallery of the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade.
Alongside works by artists from Serbia, the public will also have the opportunity to see works by 30 icon painters from abroad: from Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, Croatia, Latvia, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Lebanon, the United States, Peru, the Philippines, and Cuba, giving this year's exhibition a distinctly international character.
The selection of works was decided by the Artistic Council, composed of: Dr. Jorgos Kordis, Dr. Todor Mitrović, Dr. Tihon Rakićević, MA Natalija Stokanović, and Gabrijel Toma Kituk.
