Delivery of Stations of the Cross at Iowa Church

On the feast of the Ascension of the Lord, May 14 2026, I had the honor to deliver a large commission to Iowa. It was a set of 14 icons (24×32in) of the Stations of the Cross, to Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I delivered the icons personally, so I took a 2-day road trip from Steubenville, OH to Cedar Rapids and delivered the icons to the parish. On occasion of the feast of the Ascension, they hosted a talk where I presented the icons to many parishioners.

After the talk, the parishioners processed the icons to the nave of the church and installed them in place. I received very positive feedback about the work. This set of icons completes the beautification project the parish had started a couple years ago, which has substantially improved the sanctuary and allowed parishioners to celebrate the divine mysteries in a more proper manner.

I was very blessed to work in this project, and I am very thankful to the parish council at St Pius X that trusted in my work, particularly Fr. Jon Seda, pastor of the church, and Brandon Marsh, the parish administrator.
